Decals & Raffle

During the recent CALLERLAB convention in Las Vegas CALLERLAB members Tim Crawford and Tom Miller announced a fund raising project involving Square Dance promotion. Decals were designed and manufactured for sale and include a raffle ticket for a drawing to be held next year. The decals were provided at cost by CALLERLAB member Larry Letson. Larry also generously donated the raffle tickets for this project.

The raffle is for two wonderful prizes: 1st Prize is a $1000.00 travel voucher and 2nd prize is a $500 Luggage set. The raffle drawing will be held at the 2001 National Square Dance Convention in Anaheim, CA in June, 2001. The raffle tickets are $4.00 each. The decal reads: SQUARE DANCE ! with a smaller message FOUNDATION PRESERVATION & PROMOTION. They are a 3 by 5 inch white with red lettering and are appropriate to be used on brief cases, books, walls, car bumpers, and many other places.

Over $5,700 was donated to The Foundation as a result of this Decal & Raffle fund raising project during the CALLERLAB convention in Las Vegas. In addition to the donations collected at the convention many CALLERLAB members took decals home with them to sell. This has resulted in an additional $2,000 donation to The Foundation. If all the decals are sold, over $35,000 will have been donated to The Foundation.
